Planting the tree seeds

Thank you

Every pack of our pencils comes with a biodegradable wafer that can be planted.  Each wafer includes a couple of tree seeds inside. This is a greta way to teach about the importance of trees while planting your own tree at home.

Blue Spruce seeds

-Store your wafer in an airtight container in your refrigerator until you are ready to plant (24 hours minimum).

-Make sure you soak your seed wafer for at least 24 hours.  You can leave the wafer in the fridge soaking in water for those 24 hours.

- Deposit the wafer mush and the tree seeds into the dirt.  Place the pot in indirect sunlight until the seed germinates.

-Once the seed germinates move the pot to a window where it will receive direct sunlight. Water when the soil feels dry to the touch.

-When transplanting to the outside choose a sunny location with moist, well-drained fertile soil. Blue Spruce trees can survive in relatively dry soil but monitor and fertilize as needed.
